DRIVERS have been warned to keep both hands on the wheel after some were busted watching pornography while driving in Melbourne.
People were also caught watching movies in a police operation in Carlton on Thursday night, Road Policing Command Assistant Commissioner Doug Fryer said.
“We had punters watching pornos, we had people watching movies,” Mr Fryer told reporters on Friday.

“We had one guy that had a movie going and another phone so he could talk to his friends.”
The majority of the 53 drivers fined were busted using social media behind the wheel, Mr Fryer said.
The warning about avoiding mobile device usage while driving comes after seven people died on Victorian roads in seven days. “Three drivers, two pedestrians, one motorcycle rider and one cyclist ... are now no longer with us,” Mr Fryer said.
